As part of a national RIBA competition the design proposals explored the vision for a new flagship visitor centre for the Kent Wildlife Trust at the Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, offering key messaging around nature, education, health and well being. The masterplan forms a relationship with the site, our ‘stepping stones’ projecting from the line of the land masses to the northern lake. This organic extension invites the visitors to walk through the timber framed structures to the natural opening of the lake.
