The client, from Whitstable, came to us wanting a unique single storey extension to replace a tired looking plastic conservatory. The design uses an elevated corner apex to address the southern aspect allow light to flood into the new family room and extend into living room beyond. Large doors then open out onto a new entertaining space bounded by new raised planters. The existing dining room window has also been replaced with doors to give seamless access to the kitchen.
